Editing "Chasing Me"

 I began the editing process for my film yesterday. Today I finished editing completely, and am ready to submit "Chasing Me". I have come to the realization that I have too much footage. I have to cut out the footage from the Tamarac park. Filming there was not really working out regardless. I thought that the Tamarac Sports Complex closed at 10 everyday, but there are actually two times posted. It actually closes at 9, so some days when I thought I could film, I wasn't able to. This is unfortunate because I wasted time getting footage from that park and from the open field behind my house. But I knew this might be a possibility which is why the gas station is the main location for the film. With my sister's busy schedule, we found ourselves always missing opportunities to film. Filming at the gas station was way easier though. The gas station we filmed at, 7-eleven, is 24 hours. So filming there was always easy. I also have to cut some footage of the gas station as well. There are too many scenes and I cannot go over the time. I used Powerpoint to create the opening credits because there I was able to use the fonts  mentioned earlier and transitions. The only transition I used is the "fade" transition, but only one some slides. With Powerpoint, I was able to choose how long I wanted the slides to stay for. After that, I exported it into a video, saved it to my computer, and then emailed myself. I saved the video to my phone, and inserted it into iMovie. I used iMovie to crop the videos and put them together. I finished by exporting the final product to Inshot, and adding the music and sound effects to the film.
