This is my horror film called Chasing Me. There were some ups and downs in the process of creating this film. In the end, I am very proud of the outcome, and am very thankful for my sister.

 I began the editing process for my film yesterday. Today I finished editing completely, and am ready to submit "Chasing Me". I have come to the realization that I have too much footage. I have to cut out the footage from the Tamarac park. Filming there was not really working out regardless. I thought that the Tamarac Sports Complex closed at 10 everyday, but there are actually two times posted. It actually closes at 9, so some days when I thought I could film, I wasn't able to. This is unfortunate because I wasted time getting footage from that park and from the open field behind my house. But I knew this might be a possibility which is why the gas station is the main location for the film. With my sister's busy schedule, we found ourselves always missing opportunities to film. Filming at the gas station was way easier though. The gas station we filmed at, 7-eleven, is 24 hours. So filming there was always easy. I also have to cut some footage of the gas station as w

 I have realized that the Tamarac Complex Park actually closes at 10pm, which gave me an extra hour to start filming. As of yesterday, I have finished filming. Filming yesterday was very awkward for a couple reasons. One, I consider myself a very considerate person. I know there are some people with clown phobia, and I remember the incident with killer clowns terrorizing people. There was a lot of people coming and going so I was covering my face, and putting the mask down until they left. I am not vocal enough to go and tell everyone that I am making a film and to simply ignore me. Plus that would take too long, and it is not what I went there for. The gas station is also quite spacious, and it is close to a main road. This means more people would be looking at me. This is how I felt at the park too. Even though not many people come that late, especially since it is close to closing time. To film at the gas station, I brought my tripod with me. My parents could not join us to supervis

 I am going to redo the scenes from the gas station. The gas station I originally filmed in is small and doesn't have much light. I thought I should jus increase the lighting from the Camera app. I also used the flash while filming. I did this the entire time I was filming but my sister had a suggestion. She said "why don't we just film at the 7-eleven?" There is more light and a lot more space. I was only thinking of staying as close to my house as possible. The distance is more convenient for everyone. However, the 7-eleven is not far, the other gas station is just closer. I also had a wardrobe malfunction, so I had to do a lot of other scenes over. My mask got ruined in the washing machine. I wanted to wash it off because it had fallen on the road and things like that. I couldn't find a label that said whether or not it was safe to go in the washer and dryer so I just hoped for the best. So I went with my Plan B option and have been redoing scenes. I have been

 Today I was able to get some filming done at the end of the day. I went to run errands with my sister today for my grandmother. The errands took longer than expected, so I was not able to film at the Tamarac Park. It closed before I could get any filming done. I filmed sections of my sister driving from out of our driveway to near the gas station. My parents were at first concerned because it was late, but I reminded them that we weren’t going anywhere far. My mom had a zoom meeting for class so she couldn’t go with my sister and I. My dad had just gotten home and he was eating so he could not go either. I was just trying to hurry up and get it done because it was already late. I have realized that my phone camera is very tricky. At night, I am able to see the surroundings, but I have to adjust the zoom and the brightness settings for filming. I have to keep my finger on the screen or else it goes away. It was a little darker than usual, so I even thought about using my sister’s flash

 I talked to my mom and my sister, and have worked something out with filming safely. With my dad being busy, he cannot help me during this filming process. My mom started school again today, but she was still able to take me to track practice. She was also available at 8 pm, which is the ideal time to get more footage.  Before all these interruptions emerged, my mother was with my sister and I for safety precautions. Since then, we have filmed approximately 3 times without adult supervision. Since the filming areas are in close proximity to my house, my parents were more lenient with letting us film again. My sister and I are very responsible and aware of our surroundings, so our parents trust us to do this. However, my mom came up with a good idea that could be very helpful. She suggested that my sister and I's aunt accompany us when we go to film. This way we are with an adult that we trust since our parents are busy. This will mean that I have to change the credits.
