Planning for Final Task: Location, Participants, Health, and Schedule

 I have planned out the information including where the film will take place, the participants, health information, and the schedule for the film. 

First I will discuss the location of the filming.
The first place that I will begin filming is in my sister's room. I will not be including a picture of it so I don't allow her privacy to be invaded. The second place will be my driveway as she walks to the car. This makes the car the third filming location. Now, I will move on to the main filming location, which is a gas station. An open field is a location that I would like to use as well. I will get footage from the field and will include it if I have the space. I have not decided which specific gas station will be in the film, but I will choose a place close to home since I will be filming at night time. The open field will be in Tamarac Sports Complex, which is right down the street from my house.

The participants of this film will be me, Kylah Avril, Qiera Avril, and Sandy Cadet. 
Actors: Kylah Avril as the Antagonist ("Villain") or Attacker. Qiera Avril as the Victim.
Filming: Kylah Avril and Qiera Avril will do the filming. 
Editing: Kylah Avril will do the editing.
Directing: Kylah Avril will do the directing.
Producing: Kylah Avril will do the producing.
Writing: Kylah Avril will write the script.
Story: Kylah Avril will create the story.
Makeup Artist: Qiera Avril will be the makeup artist.
Safety Team: Sandy Cadet and Edward Avril will be the Safety Team. One of them will watch us if the other one is busy.

Going to a gas station in the middle of the night is not safe, so I will go with my parents or one of them, depending on who is available at the time. My sister has her drivers license though, so she is going to drive us to the gas station. I am going to pick a gas station near my house in case of an emergency.
My family takes vitamins, so we will take our vitamins before going to the gas station. We will film the parts outside quickly since my sister would need to take her mask off due to COVID.

3/18/21 – 3/19/21  
I will begin filming on these days. I will film from the beginning scene in my sister’s room and then film at the gas station.

3/20/21 – 3/22/21  

I will film at the Tamarac Park in the morning/afternoon, and then wait until night time to film at night. I will also revisit the gas station to get more film options.

4/2/21 – 4/3/21 

 On the 2nd , I will film things like chase scenes and fighting scenes. On the 3rd , I will record the last part where the villain is revealed.


4/4/21

I will begin the editing process.

4/10/21 – 4/14/21 

I believe that I would finish editing my film around this time.

  Filming this music video was somewhat complicated. Procrastination and my being shy played a big part in the delay of filming. From the beginning of the process of making this music video, I already had a plan. The song "Halfway There" came to me because it was stuck in my head. Genre Research: Horror

 This PowerPoint is a project I was instructed to do that is based on the horror genre. I worked on this PowerPoint in the beginning of the year with another student. We were asked to pick a genre from a list of other genres, and research it. Our research consisted of common lighting, camera angles, movements, Mise-En-Scene, elements of horror, example films, common sounds and what we like and dislike about the genre. I have noticed that this PowerPoint has been altered because the slide where I explained my dislikes about the genre is missing. Since this assignment didn't involve meeting in person, it was quite simple to complete. My partner and I split the amount of slides somewhat evenly, which means we each had a responsibility to finish our part of the project. Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

 This storyboard represents how I would like the process of filming the music video for the song Halfway There. I will try to meet my own expectations and hope everyone follows through with my ideas. The first box is what I need to do in order to begin the filming process, which is to go to North Carolina to be with my family. The second one is how I will approach the idea of including my cousin and family in the video. I will then make sure they are ok with being on camera, and part of the music video.
