Filming Progress of "Chasing Me"

 Since the first day of filming, the 15th, I have made some progress and have gotten quality footage. I still want to film as much as possible before I edit. There are some clips that I feel could be better. I also need to find a new location for the field. The Tamarac Park closes too early for me. Due to daylight savings, it is still bright around 8 pm and it closes at 9 pm. I get home from track practice at around 6 to 7:30 pm. Then I take care of my hygiene and do homework. Since Spring Break came, I chose to use that week as a way to take a break. Therefore, I did not get any footage last week or this Sunday. Both Tuesday and Wednesday I was doing hair for my friends. Then on Thursday, I went to my friends house to celebrate her actual birthday. She had a small get together with food and music. On Friday I had to go with my sister and mom to Rick Case because my mom had to get her car serviced. After that, my sister and I ran some errands and my little cousins came over and spent the night. Saturday morning I had breakfast with my same friend because she was also using the weekend to celebrate her birthday. We went to dinner later that night and then I spent the night. The next day we went to a trampoline park called Launch, and then ate dinner at her house. This week I have two track meets. I am going to film but carefully. I cannot push myself too hard outside of practice because my hip is still hurting a little. So I will film the more simple scenes.

My Music Video

  Filming this music video was somewhat complicated. Procrastination and my being shy played a big part in the delay of filming. From the beginning of the process of making this music video, I already had a plan. The song "Halfway There" came to me because it was stuck in my head. I thought it would be the perfect song to use due to its positive message, and the fact that it is school appropriate as well. Genre Research: Horror

 This PowerPoint is a project I was instructed to do that is based on the horror genre. I worked on this PowerPoint in the beginning of the year with another student. We were asked to pick a genre from a list of other genres, and research it. Our research consisted of common lighting, camera angles, movements, Mise-En-Scene, elements of horror, example films, common sounds and what we like and dislike about the genre. I have noticed that this PowerPoint has been altered because the slide where I explained my dislikes about the genre is missing. Since this assignment didn't involve meeting in person, it was quite simple to complete. My partner and I split the amount of slides somewhat evenly, which means we each had a responsibility to finish our part of the project. Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

 This storyboard represents how I would like the process of filming the music video for the song Halfway There. I will try to meet my own expectations and hope everyone follows through with my ideas. The first box is what I need to do in order to begin the filming process, which is to go to North Carolina to be with my family. The second one is how I will approach the idea of including my cousin and family in the video. I will then make sure they are ok with being on camera, and part of the music video.
