Filming “Chasing Me”

 Today was the first day of filming. Daylight savings made it so it is brighter around 7 pm so I started filming at a late time. My mom went back to school, so she was doing her own work. My dad was with me and my sister at the park. There was not a lot of people at the park though. We had to film quickly because the park was about to close. I am definitely going to go back and get better footage. I did not get the lighting I wanted, but the acting and performance was good. Me and my sister know when it is time to be serious. We joked in the beginning because it was awkward though. I got most of the scenes, but they aren’t how I wanted them. I would need to film on a day that there are more people. Weekdays are usually the best times. Other than Saturdays which are very popular. I haven’t decided on the gas station yet. I think I would go to the gas station that is on the end of the road from my house. The Tamarac Park and the gas station are about 1 to 2 minutes away. That would be very convenient and that is what I imagined in my storyboard. My parents would also agree with that. I might need to find a different open space that has better light. The Tamarac Park has lights but they are only near the football field. That means I could switch it to the football field, but it would need to be empty.

  Filming this music video was somewhat complicated. Procrastination and my being shy played a big part in the delay of filming. From the beginning of the process of making this music video, I already had a plan. The song "Halfway There" came to me because it was stuck in my head. I thought it would be the perfect song to use due to its positive message, and the fact that it is school appropriate as well. Genre Research: Horror

 This PowerPoint is a project I was instructed to do that is based on the horror genre. I worked on this PowerPoint in the beginning of the year with another student. We were asked to pick a genre from a list of other genres, and research it. Our research consisted of common lighting, camera angles, movements, Mise-En-Scene, elements of horror, example films, common sounds and what we like and dislike about the genre. I have noticed that this PowerPoint has been altered because the slide where I explained my dislikes about the genre is missing. Since this assignment didn't involve meeting in person, it was quite simple to complete. My partner and I split the amount of slides somewhat evenly, which means we each had a responsibility to finish our part of the project. Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

 This storyboard represents how I would like the process of filming the music video for the song Halfway There. I will try to meet my own expectations and hope everyone follows through with my ideas. The first box is what I need to do in order to begin the filming process, which is to go to North Carolina to be with my family. The second one is how I will approach the idea of including my cousin and family in the video. I will then make sure they are ok with being on camera, and part of the music video. This is a very important part of the project because this could make or break it. The third one represents us planning which days to record the clips for the music video.
