Planning for my Music Video

The song I chose for my music video, Halfway There, gives off a very positive message. So I wanted the music video to give off happy vibes and portray the message. I plan to record the music video outside while I'm on my trip. Anywhere I go with my family, I can ask if we can stop and record us having fun and giving off good, positive vibes to express the message. I also want to include my family in the music video to really give off the "I have your back" and "We're in this together." I don't have any specific props in mind, but whatever I happen to use in the music video will be considered a prop. The costumes are really just going to be basic everyday clothing that shows that we're comfortable with who we are. I think I would want to have our clothes progressively get better, and be more appealing. This will show growth since the song is about gradually reaching towards our goals.

I would like the schedule of the whole process to go something like this:

On 11/15/20, I research the conventions of homemade music videos.

On 11/15/20, I establish the costumes, schedule, possible locations, possible props, and backup plan.

On 11/17/20 I will create the storyboard for the commercial.

On days 11/19/20 - 11/29/20, I will film the video. These dates may change due to how many clips I need. Filming the video should not take too long, so I will only talk a couple of days out of this timeframe.

On 12/2/20, I will edit the music video to the best of my ability.

By 12/3/20, the music video will be complete and ready for submission.

I might be unable to record freely due to COVID-19, because I do not want to include me wearing a mask in the video. The music video is supposed to show us being happy and comfortable, and the viewers can't see our smiles and laughs while we're wearing masks. Also, wearing a mask does not show us in our comfort zone. If I am unable to create the vibe I would like, I will just record in my family's house or neighborhood. This will show me being in an environment I am not yet used to but will adapt to and become comfortable with. This will also give off the "we're halfway there" essence. When moving towards your goals, you are going to be in situations you aren't comfortable with, but you will have to work through those tough times to achieve said goals.
