Planning Storyboard for my Music Video

This storyboard represents how I would like the process of filming the music video for the song Halfway There. I will try to meet my own expectations and hope everyone follows through with my ideas.

The first box is what I need to do in order to begin the filming process, which is to go to North Carolina to be with my family.

The second one is how I will approach the idea of including my cousin and family in the video. I will then make sure they are ok with being on camera, and part of the music video. This is a very important part of the project because this could make or break it.

The third one represents us planning which days to record the clips for the music video.

The fourth one represents another important part of the filming process, the weather. The weather has to be what we desire it to be to even record. The plan is for it to be sunny outside to symbolize happiness.

The fifth one represents us picking basic outfits to wear for the music video and props that people use every day. The outfits will gradually get better as confidence increases.

The sixth one shows how we will take turns filming each other for individual scenes and lyrics. This will also symbolize how they felt alone in the beginning.

While we are recording, we will play the music to make the clips more accurate. This will avoid us being offbeat in the final music video.

Then to symbolize the realization that we have each other, we will have a family member film us all together, as we interact with one another and have fun.

The next day we have available, we will make our clothes look better to symbolize us getting closer to our goal and gaining more confidence by believing in ourselves more.

On the last day of filming, we will be at maximum confidence which will be toward the end of the video. At this point of the video, there will be no doubts about reaching our goals.

To add extra clips in the video, I will attempt to record Thanksgiving dinner and activities to represent togetherness and always being there for each other.

The last box just shows that when filming is finally finished, I will edit the music video to perfection to create a video with an uplifting and positive message.
