Planning Storyboard for my Ninja Foodi Cooker commercial

Image
This storyboard is a representation of how I would like the commercial to go. As I film the commercial, some tweaks might need to be made, so this will just be how I expect it to play out. The first scene will be like an introduction. The cook will introduce him or herself and explain the situation. The cook will then introduce the main event, the Ninja Foodi Cooker. The cook will show the main control functions, and explain how they will work. In the second scene, the cook will show and explain what will be made. The main option is the Herb-Roasted Chicken. The backup dishes are the Panko-Crusted Cod with Quinoa and Baked Macaroni and Cheese. The cook will get the food ready and follow the recipe book. The cook will plug in and start up the product in the third scene. They will then let the viewers get a closer look at the product and what it is capable of. The cook will then start to gather the ingredients and follow the recipe book to learn how to execute it. The fourth scene w...

Planning for my Ninja Foodi Cooker commercial

The main prop that will be featured in the commercial will of course be the Ninja Foodi 9-in-1 Pressure, Broil, Dehydrate, Slow Cooker, Air Fryer, and More. The additional props will include the materials to prep and cook the chicken. The person that will be in the commercial will be dressed normally but will also be prepared to cook. He or she will wear a short-sleeved shirt, long comfortable jeans, closed-toe shoes. They will also make sure their hair won't be in the way. If their hair is long, it will be tied up, back, or in a hairnet, depending on what they want to do. An additional part of their "costume" will include oven mitts just in case they need to remove the container. The person will not wear any jewelry on their arms unless they are tight fitted and depending on the preference of the cook.  I believe the schedule will go something like this; On 10/23/20,  I research the conventions of cooking appliance commercials. On 10/23/20 I established the props, the c...

Research Blog: Commercial Conventions

I am doing a commercial using a Ninja Foodi 9-in-1 Pressure, Broil, Dehydrate, Slow Cooker, Air Fryer, and More. This commercial will be a test run of the product and exploring the different functions of it. The person testing it out is going to be someone new to cooking. Seeing as there is a recipe book included, it should be easy enough for them to follow the directions. The commercial will take place in the kitchen in the evening since they will be cooking Herb-Roasted Chicken. The props include the Ninja Foodi Cooker, a chopping board, knives, 4 plates, something to stir with, 1 whole uncooked chicken, 1/4 cup of hot water, the juice of 2 lemons, a measuring cup, tablespoons, and the seasonings for the chicken. The appearance of the new chef will be a short-sleeve shirt, long comfortable jeans, no hand or arm jewelry, and an apron. His or her hair should be tied back if their hair is lengthy. The commercial would have two different types. One commercial would just include clips fro...
